Things Change…

I woke up from my nap this evening and suddenly told myself, "Lets go to LA! It’s not as bad as you thought."
Never in my life have USA came across my list of "Places To Go". Since I heard about them upgrading the security procedures on the airport, especially having to take off your shoes and the possibility of body cavity search, I decided not to ever put USA into the list - simply because I don’t like the idea of proving myself ‘innocent’ when I am in fact innocent. Why should you have to prove who you are?
Anyways, I was woken up by the TV noise coming from the living room as my brother was watching tv. They were covering the news about Live Earth across the world. It then forced me to prompt myself "If I were in New York, it would have been a dawn of biright Sunday instead of a cloudy Sunday evening. Wouldn’t it be nice…".
Then it reminded me of a direct flight between Sydney and LA - how Jessica Simpson once had this flight route when coming to Sydney - and how all the cast of LOST got their excuses to get lost in that island. I started imagining all the nice places in LA: the cafes, the shopping strips, the different kind of living atmosphere like they had in Entourage (just as my sister had pointed out yesterday).
Things change. What I didn’t consider before suddenly becomes one of my excuses to get excited. Simply because my perspective is changed. No longer was I focused on the bad things, I am now giving myself an insight on all the great stuff I could have experienced in LA.
Things change when you change your perspective…
